An Unexpected Shopping Trip!

Hello lovely people of the internet! I hope everyones had a good week and is enjoying their weekend (technically its almost over but we'll ignore that.) I had a little bit of an unexpected shopping trip today, which understandably was rather exciting.

So I'm going to share my new purchases.

The first thing I got is a Selfie Stick!! Much excitement, I know. I'm aware that I'm quite late on the bandwagon, but I decided to join in and get one today! Also its pink so what could be better!

This Selfie Stick is from Currys/PC World and cost just £9.99.

The next two things are sort of cheating because I actually ordered them online and they arrived on Thursday but I felt the need to share them anyway.
The first thing is a black lace bralet from River Island. I've been ogling these and similar ones in Topshop since before Christmas but just last week I plucked up the courage to buy one, as I can see potential outfits coming together with this beauty in my life.
Just £14 from River Island.

The second purchase is a lovely scarf from Accessorize. For some reason between roughly September and March I am prone to colds and it doesn't help that I'm not the biggest fan of hats, scarves and gloves. Normally I have my trusty snood from New Look but sometimes I find it doesn't keep the cold out as much as it should and theres not many ways to adjust it. So I found this gorgeous scarf, it has a red tartan pattern and is extremely cosy it's almost like wearing a blanket. So undoubtedly I fell in love and just had to make the purchase even at £19 for a scarf, I feel as if it is worth it. Take a look for yourself. However it is extremely frustrating to see it is now in the sale but if you're quick you can go grab your own one!!
£19 in Accesorize but in the sale for £9.50

Next exciting purchase was Fleur De Force's Book Glam Guide. I am a huge fan of sitting down with a mug of (insert your favourite hot drink here) and catching up on Youtube videos and blogs so this book was a must for me, I haven't had the chance to read it yet though but I look forward to doing so.

Next stop was H&M which was the original destination for this shopping trip which ended up branching out further and further as the day went on. I intended to get a hat and yes I am aware I mentioned earlier in this very post that I don't like hats, but this one is a fashion must have. So I'm going to stop rambling on and let you see it. Although I also picked up a black fringe bag in H&M which I had been eyeing up for a while but I caved in and treated myself today.
The hat was £12.99 and the bag was £19.99

Now time for some clothes which as my Mum so kindly pointed to me I have plenty of already. I had a little moment of madness in New Look and decided that I needed all of these. Rather than describing each thing I'll just insert pictures from the website.

Believe it or not I did actually take my own photos of all these but I didn't like how they turned out so I thought it would look better to insert the photos from the website.

I have of course left the most exciting purchase until last so if you feel asleep half way through and decided to stop reading then there really isn't much point in me writing this because you won't see it anyway but shame on you but it's not my problem that you'll be missing out. If you have lasted this far then Well Done and heres your reward!!
Make Up is one of my favourite things and recently I've been splurging a little on more high end brands which is very exciting for me although sadly my purse doesn't seem to agree. I've also been trying to use more products everyday including eyeshadows and Stila has some gorgeous eyeshadows so when Marks and Spencer started stocking Stila it was an important time for me especially considering I get an extra 20% off with my Mum working there. She also gave me a £5 off voucher so I bought two eyeshadows in the shades Kitten and Eden, they were £12 each. Now going back to drugstore/high street I fell head over heels in love with the Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stains. I'll put my hands up I'm even obsessed with the names. Theres only a few colours in the range that I'm not a fan of so I took full advantage of the 3 for 2 offer. I only bought three today (pats self on back for not going crazy) I got the shades Shanghai Sizzle, Miami Fever and Rio Rush. I will probably do a little review on these in the next month so keep your eyes peeled.

Stila Eyeshadows - Left to Right: Kitten and Eden

So thats everything! I hope you enjoyed this post even though it was quite long. I'd like to apologise for how late it is in going up but I had a few minor problems in the form of inspiration among other things, and it was only while I was shopping that I decided this was the post I was going to do. I then had an issue with taking photos as I couldn't get them to focus properly so I had to borrow my Dad's camera. Then to top it all off while taking photos of the clothes which I didn't even post in the end this disaster occurred.

I hope everyone has a fantastic week this week and I'll speak to you again next week! I'm in the process of setting up a Twitter and Instagram account so I'll link them when they are up and running. I'd like to welcome any suggestions for posts in the future.

If you're reading this then Thank You! Much love!

First Blog Post

Hello to anyone who is reading this! I'm Sophie, I'm 17 years old and this is my blog (or the start of it at least!)

I've always toyed with the idea of starting a blog but never have done for various reasons but last night I had a surge of inspiration around 1am and decided I would give it a go.

I live in Scotland and always have done although when I'm older I'd love to live elsewhere although I'm not entirely sure where. I left school last year (July 2014) and I'm currently training to be a hairdresser in a local salon. This has been my dream job for as long as I can remember!

I enjoy many different things including listening to music, reading books, watching films and TV shows. I also like spending time with my friends, going shopping, going out for something to eat etc. I love exploring new places and meeting new people. I enjoy a wide variety of music and have a keen interest in all things fashion, hair and makeup.

So I think thats everything you need to know about me for now, this was just a quick post to say hi and introduce myself, I hope you enjoy my blog :) Soph x
