BRIT Awards 2015 Style

Hello again everyone! It seems like just the other day since I posted last weeks blog, oh how time flies when you're having fun! I hope everyone had an enjoyable and stress free week.

The highlight of my week was watching the BRIT Awards on ITV on Wednesday night. Some days later and I still don't understand Kanye Wests performance but never mind. The one thing everyone seemed to be talking about by the end of the night though wasn't the gorgeous dresses or even the winners but Madonna. Oh dear, I have to admit I did have a bit of a giggle but ouch!! However on to the most exciting thing about any Awards Show; the dresses, makeup and hair styles. If you are interested in who won what awards, click here.

Lets get poor Madonna out of the way first. While searching photos of her outfits the first thing that came up was the video of that fall. Just incase you missed it. I'm personally not a huge fan of Madonna to start with but her fashion choices don't help. I know some people will disagree with me but I don't see why she thinks it's acceptable to wear outfits like this one, she is 56 years old.

Next up Fearne `Cotton looked glowing in a metallic golden mini dress. She looked remarkably good considering just a few days later she announced her pregnancy, Congrats!!

Fearne's Celebrity Juice co-star Holly Willoughby looked fantastic in an Alice and Olivia number. The black embellished dress is sadly from the AW14 Collection but there are similar styles out there with a friendlier price tag too.

Michelle Keegan looked stunning as ever in a simple black lace dress from Isabel Garcia. She gave her outfit a pop of colour with a green bag and had her hair styled into big bouncy curls.

Kim Kardashian made an appearance to present the International Global Success Award to Sam Smith, before introducing Kanye West to the stage.

Cara Delevingne wowed at the Brits in trousers and a shirt on the red carpet and then changed into a dress for the awards show itself. I am a huge fan of Cara and her eftorless style but I can't say either of her outfits were spectacular, you can judge for yourself however.
I did however like her makeup and hair. Her iconic bushy brows looked just as good as ever. She had her trademark smokey eye, flawless skin and her hair looked effortless.

Fellow model from across the pond, Karlie Kloss looked stunning in a floor length long sleeved cut out white gown with black detailing by Tom Ford.

Laura Whitmore looked gorgeous in a spring yellow dress with a gold belt. She accessorised with a gold arm band, stacked rings, black heels and a bold lip.

Eventually we get on to the musicians. Rita Ora showed off her new cropped hair and some cleavage in a golden embellished floor length gown with a plunging neckline.

Ellie Goulding looked flawless in a white floor length gown that almost could have been mistaken for a wedding dress.

Paloma Faith looked ravishing in a floor length red gown. She paired the beautiful dress with simple black heels. Known for her wacky hairstyles/wigs/hats, she opted for a simple slicked back look.

Little Mix looked fabulous, with all of the girls in exquisite floor length gowns.

Ashley Roberts and Taylor Swift were possibly my personal Best Dressed of the night.

Of course it wouldn't be fair to leave the one true love of my life out of this post. Ed Sheeran ladies and gentlemen, he scrubbed up well and looked very dapper in his suit. We won't mention how he looked a little worse for wear at the after party!

I never intend for these blog posts to end up so long but oh well, if you've stayed until the end I hope you enjoyed it. Once again thank you for reading! I won't keep you for too much longer, so I hope everyone has a lovely week and I'll speak to you again next Sunday (if not before then.)
